The Guardian is publishing a few extracts from Malcolm Gladwell’s new book Outliers.  The book evidently deals with genius, and how it happens. Fuck the haters, I absolutely loved reading Blink, and I’m really looking forward to this one.

Take a look at the following list of numbers: 4, 8, 5, 3, 9, 7, 6. Read them out loud. Now look away and spend 20 seconds memorising that sequence before saying them out loud again.
