Some days you're honest. Some days you're not.
Why We Fight (2005)

I’m getting addicted to the docs. I’d wanted to watch Why We Fight for a long time, but never got around to it. (too distracted by STV Nick Cage garbage like NEXT thanks mom!)

But thanks to Sicko putting me in a political frame of mind, and having been burned by Nick Cage once already this month, we opted against the freshly downloaded copy of GHOST RIDER, and finally clicked on the two year old copy of Why We Fight.

It was really one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. My freshman political science class covered the military industrial complex, but the gravity of the situation was never made apparent. This film is succinct, accessible, and tragic. I know you’re all already completely pessimistic, perhaps even chemically apathetic, but come on! Don’t you want to get fired up and political?
